Synopsis :
Tom Ripley est chargé par un riche armateur américain, Herbert Greenleaf, de ramener au pays son playboy de fils, Dickie, qui a fui la pression familiale en Italie avec sa fiancée, Marge. Tom découvre alors un monde idyllique, entre farniente et boîtes de jazz… Mais quand Dickie lui refuse son amitié, Tom est prêt à tout pour s'approprier cette vie de rêve…
